Why do I get connection reject error even I configure .env file properly on local environment

I purchased worksuit-sass-project-management system. I follow the setup process as shown their video but it shows database connection error message . Why this app use 'homstead' as database user even I changed it to 'root'

Please kindly answer to my question.
