Laravel + Sentry : can we log to sentry WITHOUT throwing an exception?

We're using Laravel with Sentry for tracing live exceptions.

In some edge cases we'd like to log to sentry (instead of disk only) to track some strange situations, appearing very rarely.

Can we log something to sentry without throwing exceptions?
