. Implement a Telegram bot on PHP

I am building a php laravel project which implements a telegram bot am on localhost does anyone have a tutorial on how to do this I have tried reading the Telegram Bot API getting started its very confusing

so far I have tried this tutorial https://tutsforweb.com/creating-a-cryptocurrency-telegram-bot-with-laravel/ but it's not very clear when I run an app on localhost still there's no communication between my app and the telegram bot
