How to remove number folder from URL in laravel

This is the URL

https://www.flowerbox.ae/gift-basket/4/Fresh-Plants

and I want

https://www.flowerbox.ae/gift-basket/Fresh-Plants

I didn't know the coding but when I ask my developer, He said that is impossible.

Website have too many URLs so using httaccess to redirect them is not a good way to resolve this problem,

I know the URL is the lower and upper case but the developer can do that. I need the answer to the above question.
